Welcome to Bluegum Quilting Services.  I am Val Towill of Murray Bridge, South Australia & I just love to quilt!  I have been a patchworker since 1992, then during 2003 I bought my first quilting machine to help finish all those unfinished tops.

Using an A-1 Elite Longarm Quilting Machine, I am able to offer a range of machine quilting services while striving to maintain quality workmanship in the quilts that I complete for my customers.  I can offer simple & economical edge to edge quilting designs for those ‘utility’ quilts, or if you have spent many months creating a family heirloom then perhaps a more customised design is required.  

I will be happy to discuss your requirements relating to my quilting services, including selection & preparation of backing fabric & wadding which I can source for you if required.  I only use quality threads especially designed for high speed quilting machines, samples of which I have available at the studio, & I can attach the binding to your quilt!

There is often a waiting time to complete customer quilts.  This will vary depending on the type of work required so please contact me to place a booking or for any further information you need.  Generally, edge to edge quilting can be completed within a few short weeks, with customised work requiring a longer time due to the detail required to finish your quilt.
