My name is Val Towill and I own & operate a Machine Quilting Business at Murray Bridge, South Australia which is about one hour east of our capital city of Adelaide. I am dedicated to machine quilting & offer my clients a professional quilting service using an A1 Elite Longarm Quilting Machine which has an Intelliquilter Computerised System attached. I am able to offer a wide range of services to help finish your quilts, such as edge to edge quilting, simple & more detailed custom quilting designs. I can attach the binding to your quilt or perhaps baste it by machine ready for hand quilting. There are more details about this on my Quilting Services & Pricing page.
If you are considering having a quilt done by a machine quilter such as myself, I would be very happy to discuss with you the different options available as it is so important to make the right choices for your quilt. Check out the Quilt Preparation page for some tips on how to prepare your quilt top for machine quilting & what you need to do to send your quilt on to me. I can supply a limited range of backing fabric & quality wadding should you not be able to source these for yourself. I only use good quality cotton threads suitable for the high speed of my quilting machine in colours which will enhance or tone with your quilt top.
I consider it a priviledge to work on my clients quilts & I treat them with the highest regard as if they were my very own. I also offer a Loyalty Program to my regular clients as a thank you for continuing to bring their quilts to me. This month the quilt belongs to one of my regular clients from Adelaide Suburban area. This quilt was a 'Block of the Month' quilt & has beautiful applique & colouring. It was quilted with a freehand heart & loop background fill while doing SID around all the applique. I quite enjoyed working on this quilt & there is a close up photo in the Gallery area of this website.
