| Raffle Quilt for Bridge Patches & Quilters'
My local group asked me to quilt their raffle quilt. I thought cross hatching the background areas would suit the Jacobean style applique & it seems to suit it quite well. Tickets are still available!

| Mannum Group Raffle Quilt
Another Raffle Quilt which I enjoyed working on. I used the flower shape from one of the fabrics & quilted it in larger background areas. This helped to fill this space, with feathers in the sashings, on the borders & a feather wreath within the blocks. They raised a lot of money for their local charities with this quilt.

| African Colourwash
Sue A. wanted to create more features on this quilt, so with the help of a map I stitched in the state borders, echo quilted the lighter ocean, created waves in the darker waters & ditch stitched the small animal blocks so they would stand out. She was so pleased with the final result it now hangs proudly in her home.

| Warp Drive
Lois J. used her own hand dyed fabrics to piece this quilt. She only wanted an Edge to Edge design, but I thought a freehand pattern with some swirls & curls would suit it best. It was a large quilt & she was happy with the result.

| Formal Garden
Reetha B. made this quilt from a workshop which grew to a large queen size quilt. As this design uses those loose strips sewn into the seams I needed to customise the quilting. She was quite pleased with the end result & she put it into her local exhibition gaining 2nd place for Viewers' Choice.

| Elvis Panel
Something a little different! Sue J had made the outer blocks in a stack & slash workshop & wanted to place them around this panel of The King! for her friends sampervan. Her colours worked really well so I quilted it with a musical themed edge to edge design which finish it off beautifully.

| Girls Day Out
Chris J. made this pretty quilt from BOM. Some of the charms & trinkets had to be removed for me to do the quilting. It seemed the feathers would suit in the sashings & borders, with some feature work in the stitchery blocks. She was quite pleased with the end result which she now has hanging in her home.

| Peace & Plenty
Designed by Susan Murphy of Mannum, this quilt was made by Robyn L. from a kit which took many hours for her to complete the beautiful applique & piecing. It also took many hours to quilt! I stitched some feature work into the large centre blocks & added some motifs in the borders then echo quilted around them. A lovely result I am sure.

| Phoebe's Oriental Inspiration
I made this quilt for my niece Phoebe, for her wedding gift (requested!). As she had lived in Japan for 2 years she wanted some japanese fabrics included. Her mother selected the fabrics & I used basic block designs with larger areas of the feature print. Quilted with an all over Clamshell design, she just loved the finished result.

| Hierloom Quilt
This heirloom quilt made by Joan L. was originally made with 'Quilt as you go' techniques, but she wanted to have more quilting added to it. She had it finished for her daughters birthday, who was delighted with the result. Joan also received 1st place Viewers' choice in her local exhibition earlier this year.

| Cornerstones
I made this basic design which pieced up quite quickly for my sister-in-law's 60th birthday. All the fabrics were in my stash & I quilted it with a very simple design. Finished within a couple of days, that's the way to make a quilt!

| Flerieu Raffle Quilt
This quilt made by Flerieu Quilters' from fabric which was donated to the group. Machine applique using Bali fabric, I used echo quilting in all the background & it was a pleasure to do the work for them. They raised quite a lot of money for their charity from this quilt which finished almost queen size.
